Hoom processes sensitive health information to provide a private archive and the operations a user requests. The final production Privacy Notice will identify the operator, subprocessors, locations, retention periods, legal bases, and user rights.

AI processing is operation-specific
When a user invokes an AI feature, Hoom sends the content needed for that operation to the selected provider under the disclosed processing terms.
Product development and training
The combined Terms and Explicit Consent includes using health records, manual entries, derived facts, AI inputs and outputs, and feedback to develop, train, test, and improve Hoom-owned or commissioned algorithms, models, neural networks, and tools. This is a condition of account access where lawful. Contractors may act on Hoom's behalf, and resulting technology may be commercialised without royalties to contributors. See Sections 7 through 9 of the Terms.
Provider safety checks
Depending on the selected AI service and configuration, security and abuse-prevention checks may involve temporary retention and authorised human review. These checks are distinct from training Hoom's tools.
Sharing remains explicit
Other users receive portal access only when the owner grants read or write permission.
