Data processing

Privacy starts with clear purpose and user control

Hoom processes sensitive health information to provide a private archive and the operations a user requests. The final production Privacy Notice will identify the operator, subprocessors, locations, retention periods, legal bases, and user rights.

Designed for continuity

Keep the useful detail without losing the larger story

01

Core archive processing

Documents, notes, readings, symptoms, medications, derived facts, and account data are processed to provide, secure, and maintain the archive.

02

AI processing is operation-specific

When a user invokes an AI feature, Hoom sends the content needed for that operation to the selected provider under the disclosed processing terms.

03

Model improvement requires separate consent

Training or improving Hoom-owned or commissioned tools with personal health data is separate from providing the core archive and requires optional explicit consent.

04

Sharing remains explicit

Other users receive portal access only when the owner grants read or write permission.
